Games time

Found this on a friend’s blog and thought it might be funny to play here as well…
Pick 20 movies/books/video games and put their summaries from Better than it Sounds and, WITHOUT CHEATING, have your friends guess.
Books:
1 – A man is let out of prison and is hired as chauffeur and bodyguard to a weird man who’s conducting a secret war against another bunch of other weird people. The story is occasionally interrupted for history lessons or stories that are almost completely unrelated.
2 – A reclusive, middle-aged, single industrialist invites young children to tour his business, which is operated by undocumented immigrants who live in the facility. As the tour progresses, he allows most of the children to be injured, deformed, or (possibly) killed while his employees sing songs mocking their poor moral character. He then bequeaths the entire works to the last child standing.
3 – A teenage demonologist calls up the world’s worst wizard, who utterly fails at playing Fairy Godfather.
4 – A detective is hired to solve a murder. There are more werewolves than you can shake a stick at, and they all work differently. Also, a plot to kill an mob boss backfires.
5 – Boy named after a mouse helps locals improve their drug-filled sandpit, despite unfriendly wildlife. The government disapproves.
6 – A baby is switched at birth, which causes great problems later on. Meanwhile, a cynic with a fondness for antique cars, a rare book dealer, a Granola Girl, a man who breaks things, one of the last witch-hunters in Britain and the witch-hunter’s landlady attempt to prevent four rather sinister bikers from causing The End Of The World As We Know It.
7 – The whole school is endangered by a girl writing in her diary. It takes a full school year to resolve the situation.
8 – A pilot crashes in the desert. Near dying from thirst, he meets an extraterrestrial. They talk philosophy.
Movies:
1 – Big rectangles change the course of human evolution, a computer goes nuts, and an astronaut sees lots of colored lights.
2 – Barely dressed soldiers fight with “metrosexual version of the Devil”. (Sort of) based (indirectly) on what might be a true story.
3 – A soldier is ordered to assassinate one of his own superiors, both of them go batshit crazy, and then someone hacks a water buffalo to death. Also, Han Solo is a nervous and sweaty secretary, and Morpheus is a horny teenager who dies like a punk.
4 – Thanks to a discontinued sports car, a boy nearly commits incest with his mother after teaching his father how to use violence. All their lives improve as a result.
5 – Special police officer searches for interplanetary criminals seeking their parents. Fans try guessing his true nature and are doomed to fail.
6 – Two brothers, along with a sandwich delivery boy and a coffee-loving FBI agent, examine questions of morality and legality while cursing profusely. Their estranged father, an Irish comedian, puts their doubts to rest.
7 – Five teenagers with problems waste a Saturday proving that they’re even less unique than they thought.
8 – A therapist, a mathematician, and working class roughs vie for the soul of a really smart janitor.
TV Series:
1 – A mass murder claims to have reformed, but occasionally relapses. Also, all your favorite characters die.
2 – Three ex-military criminals and their insane friend help small businesses by harassing their competitors.
3 – Murder investigation is frequently interrupted by song-and-dance numbers using well-known pop songs.
4 – An old man spends several lifetimes convincing hot young things to join him inside an ancient (time traveling) phone box. He is routinely harassed by tin men, giant nazi pepperpots and his old college buddies.
